Kids Yoga is an opportunity for children to learn mindfulness, self-regulation, and joy!
Children are offered a variety of breathing techniques, yoga poses, games and songs to help create friendship bonds, and introduce mindful movement into their lives. Body awareness becomes evident as children learn to balance and move throughout the space around them, shifting from pose to pose.
Yoga is also a time for PLAY!
Children are encouraged to sing, dance, and move their bodies in a way that feels natural to them, and are given the chance to enjoy their own company and find their own peace inside themselves.
This class is taught by Sara Mercer, Registered Yoga Teacher, Rainbow Kids Yoga Qualified Instructor, and Ontario Certified Teacher.
